Parc Penllergaer Pathway Appeal 2016
We are constantly working to improve access for walkers to Penllergare Valley Woods, and as part of this we are planning to provide a surfaced path leading from our Parc Penllergaer entrance down to the main Carrigaeway path. We need funding to achieve this, as although most of the work will be undertaken by volunteers we need to purchase materials. Please donate!
Bulb and Plant Appeal 2016
With the assistance and advice of the Head Gardener of Clyne Gardens and our own wonderful woodland volunteers, we are reintroducing species rhododendrons, along with azaleas, hellebores, ferns, wild daffodils, snowdrops and other woodland plants to recreate the character of the gardens as they appear in John Dillwyn Llewelyn’s photographs and watercolours.
Our woodland volunteers have already planted thousands of wild daffodils in drifts and a thousand snowdrops in the upper terraces and car park area.
If you would like to make a donation towards the cost of these bulbs and plants, please click here to visit our Bulb and Plant Appeal page.
