Join our Estate Manager, David Connick, for the first of his monthly Evening Ranger Rambles around Penllergare Valley Woods.
David’s enthusiasm and interest for Penllergare is infectious, as he talks about the ecology, wildlife and history of the site while taking a stroll around the woods.
Even if you have been on one of these rambles before, it is worth coming back as there is always a new tidbit of information to learn!
These rambles tend to be quite sedate, but may include some steep paths and/or steps due to the nature of Penllergare Valley Woods.
Please wear sturdy shoes and clothing suitable for the weather on the day. The walk will last approximately 2 hours.
The main car park will stay open late for visitors joining this ramble. Dogs are welcome on a short lead.
Suitable for children of approx 8+.
Meet in the main car park ready to set off at 6:15pm.
This walk is free of charge, but we would welcome donations as we don’t receive any funding from the local authority and rely on donations and grants to enable us to maintain the woods and keep them accessible to visitors.
